Not sure if you need this accessory? Because most states require the use of an outside air kit, be sure to check local building codes before deciding to leave this accessory off.
All FireRock systems can be adjusted to accommodate an outside air kit by cutting a notch in two side blocks, inserting the pipe into the fireplace unit through the notch and sealing the notch with mortar. For detailed instructions see our instruction manual and refer to the air kit's manufacturer installation instructions.
